Most at home hunting for insects in wild places, I am an insect migration scientist from North Wales. My work takes me to beautiful insect migration hotspots such as the Pyrenees and Cyprus. A camera is perpetually slung around my neck as photographs are amongst the most important storytelling tool of our modern age. I firmly believe that by telling stories and inspiring more people to take an interest in our natural world, we will ensure future generations have a natural world to enjoy. Through this belief I am always happy to give talks and be part of large media campaigns, the largest so far being for TED and The Guardian.
